Another car from German automobile manufacturer, Audi, is set to be release on 2018. The 2018 Audi Q6 e-tron was first viewed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. 2018 Audi Q6 e-tron – Exterior and Interior Design
The production of the 2018 Q6 e-tron is quite similar to the e-tron Quattro Concept on the exterior. It will feature flush door handles and Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) lights. Audi also hopes to include rear-view cameras which will replace the traditional mirrors on cars. The final design of the 2018 Audi Q6 E-tron is yet to be finalized, but word has it that it will compete with the released Tesla Model X. The Audi management claims that the 2018 Audi Q6 E-tron will look “sexy, packed with utility and sporty.”
On the inside, the Audi Q6 E-tron will feature four individual seats. The dashboard will also feature a high-tech interface which has many display screens. There will be screens for the main instrument cluster, and the central infotainment system. Moreover, the 2018 Audi Q6 E-tron will have a separate HVAC controls for both the front and rear-seat passengers.
2018 Audi Q6 e-tron – Engine Options
The 2018 Q6 E-tron will feature three electric motors (one will lead the front axle while the other two electric motor will be placed on each of the rear wheel). Once these electric motors are combined, they can produce a power up to 370 kilowatts. The 2018 Q6 E-tron can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds. The car will also have an electronically limited top speed at 130 mph. Though the car can only reach a top speed of 130 mph, 2018 Q16 E-tron has been said to use a new battery chemistry, made and improved by Audi’s own engineers and battery supplier, to reach a 300++ mile range. It was also claimed by Dr. Rudiger Chmielewski, head of total vehicle development, that by the time the automobile manufacturer released the 2018 Q6 E-tron, it will only take for the battery to be charged for 30 minutes to reach 80% battery life. In addition, he added that the company is working to provide owners a wireless induction charging systems.
2018 Audi Q6 e-tron – Price and Release Date
The Audi automobile manufacturer has not issued a tentative or specific date of release yet for the Audi Q6 E-tron. However, they have been verbal enough about releasing the car by the year 2018 once everything has been set. They also have not issued the price for the Audi Q6 e-tron, but if we base it on its predecessors and previous Audi manufactured-makes, the price of the car will be at an average of $53,962.
