2017 Mercedes M-Class – Exterior and Interior Changes

The 2017 Mercedes M-Class will be an updated version of the 3rd generation M-Class vehicle, which has been selling well. Mercedes has decided to switch names in order to make all its models and powertrains more recognizable. The new M-Class however sports a much more rounded exterior. The front of the vehicle has a very pronounced rounded look. In addition, it also gets attractive headlights while at the back the design is unchanged. The rear LED tail lights and the uniquely designed exhaust tips have been integrated in the lower reaches of the back bumper.

On the inside, the 2017 Mercedes M-Class gets sporty seats that besides being very attractive are also very comfortable. There is also a nice infotainment system that is almost the same as the ones used in the other Mercedes-Benz models. A center console is home to a proprietary controller, which in turn has a touchpad that is ergonomically designed. Other than these embellishments, the interiors also boast of plenty of carbon fiber material that along with wood and some artificial leather help to make the interiors very attractive.

The German automaker has decided to stay with the same powertrains as are being used in the earlier M-Class models. There is however some important news in that the company is now planning to offer a hybrid version as well. This will be called the GLE 550e 4Matic and it is very eco-friendly and uses the same powertrain as is already being used in the S-Class hybrid model.
